After receiving a BS degree in Education and Biology he was a teacher coach before working for the Ralston Purina Company for 10 years in various QA positions. During the 1980's he was Director of Quality Assurance for the IAMS Company and from 1990 - 1997 was a Food Protection Specialist with ConAgra Foods. He has developed a wealth of experience in the food industry with Integrated Pest Management, Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, Sanitation, Insect Control with Temperature Modification and Quality Assurance Systems.

      Dosland joined Copesan Services in 1997 and was instrumental in developing, co-authoring and directing 20 + professional pest management training videos for the food and health care industries. An award-winning videographer and presenter, he had published numerous articles and papers on pest management and sanitation practices for industry journals and publications. He directed the design and startup of CopesanUniversity, an online learning center. He is a Certified Professional Instructor and a Certified Instructional Designer with Food Safety and Commercial Pesticide Applicator certifications. He is a frequent industry speaker and conducts pest management, sanitation and heat treatment workshops. In the spring of 2005 he started a business providing food protection, pest management and training programs for the food and pest control industries. Uniquely credentialed by working both industries, he offers practical solutions with an exclusive combination of consulting services.
